Alexandra Asset Management
New City of Alexandra
A phased approach. A shared ambition.
Our proposed project begins with Stratum Mini Complex and Stratum Mixed Use, progresses to Stratum Sports City, and then advances the wider City Project. Alexandra comes first in our vision for 100 Inclusive African Cities.

#ChangeAlexNow
Development with the people of Alexandra.
We aim to connect local needs, business activity and investment capital so that residents can participate in the economy around them. Our role as an investment firm is to develop a disciplined investment approach, bring partners together and make the proposed participation pathway clear.
The Luthando Maduna Foundation NPC supports the programme’s public-benefit purpose. Delivery depends on community engagement, feasibility, land arrangements, government approvals and funding. No completed developments, secured funding or approved dates are claimed here.
Our impact programme
Proposed rollout
Three phases. Each with its own decision gates.
The sequence sets the direction, not a confirmed construction schedule. Each phase needs its own assessment, approvals and funding before it can proceed.
Phase 01 · proposed
Start with neighbourhood places.
The proposed first rollout brings together Mini Complex and Mixed Use developments: neighbourhood retail and services, commercial space and residential opportunities. We aim to begin at a manageable scale, build local relationships and learn from delivery before expanding.
- Neighbourhood retail and everyday services
- Mixed-use commercial and residential spaces
- Local business and resident engagement
Before this phase proceeds
Site feasibility, land arrangements, community consultation, planning approvals and committed project funding must be confirmed before delivery.
- Phase budget
- To be confirmed
- Start / completion

Budget & delivery timeline
R500 billion is the proposed programme capital mobilisation target. It is not an approved construction budget, capital already raised or guaranteed funding. Phase allocations and dates have not been confirmed.

Cost planning
Land, infrastructure, construction, professional services and contingencies must be assessed before budgets can be approved.
Funding readiness
Funding arrangements, investor terms and capital commitments must be documented; no secured funding amount is stated.
Schedule confirmation
Dates depend on feasibility, permissions and funding. Approved milestones and progress reports should be shared as they become available.
Resident participation
Understand first. Participate only on confirmed terms.
Residents are central to the vision, but the project and proposed Wealth Rotation Fund are not open for subscriptions. Registering interest is not an investment, a reservation of property or a promise of returns.
STEP 1
Speak to an adviser
Start with an online consultation about your goals, affordability and the proposed programme. Ask questions before deciding anything.
STEP 2
Read and register interest
Read the draft Wealth Rotation Fund documents and SAMBO member guide. Your adviser can explain the proposal; no subscription or phase allocation is made now.
STEP 3
Keep current investing separate
If you choose to invest now through the Social Bond interest pathway, the money goes into a separate regulated income fund, not the proposed bond or a construction phase. Your adviser must explain its fees, risks and terms.
STEP 4
Review each future opportunity
If a phase-linked investment is approved and offered, review its official documents, costs, risks and eligibility with your adviser. Any decision requires your consent; there is no automatic transfer from an income fund.
The Wealth Rotation Fund draft proposes a minimum individual subscription of R250 and R10,000 for qualifying stokvels or groups, subject to final terms. R250 is not a confirmed monthly debit order. Potential Mini Complex, Mixed Use and Sports City exposures are not confirmed allocations. Everyday purchases do not automatically create property ownership, and returns or distributions are not guaranteed.
