Alexandra Asset Management is a capital mobilisation and investment strategy company. We connect capital with large-scale property and economic development — and we design that connection so that ordinary people can share in the value created.
Our Story
Born from a simple question: who owns the places we build?
Across Africa, communities live, work and spend in places they rarely own. Value is created on their streets, in their shops and through their daily lives — yet the returns from that value often flow elsewhere.
AAM was founded to change that. We believe the people who give a place its life should have a genuine opportunity to participate in its growth. Our name carries that commitment: Alexandra is not only a place, it is a promise that development can start with the community and include it.
Our work brings together investors, financial institutions, developers and community organisations around one shared goal — building inclusive African cities, beginning with the proposed New City of Alexandra.

A Message from Our Founder
"We never had a perfect start, but we will finish strong."
That sentence is more than a message — it is our belief system. Nothing meaningful is built in a single day, and nobody begins with perfect conditions. In life and in business, it is the little steps we take that lead to greater results later on. A clear vision, small daily steps and a genuine belief in our own abilities and talents are what allow us to finish strong.
I founded Alexandra Asset Management with that conviction. As a Chartered Accountant, I have seen that the most resilient investments are not the ones with the easiest beginnings, but the ones built step by step, with discipline, patience and deep roots — backed by many stakeholders, supported by the communities around them and aligned with real economic need.
That is why we designed a system that is inclusive by design and reaches more people. Every person who participates — even with a small monthly contribution — is taking one of those small daily steps. When more people can participate, capital is drawn from a broader base, communities become owners and advocates of the developments around them, and the investment is supported by those who benefit from it. In our view, this broad participation helps de-risk our solutions.
The New City of Alexandra is our flagship expression of that belief, and the first step towards 100 Inclusive African Cities. We did not have a perfect start — nobody does. But with a clear vision and small daily steps, taken together, we will finish strong. I invite investors, institutions and partners to walk those steps with us.
